  The restaurant was not busy tonight. We were seated immediately within a section that had 5 other empty tables around us. I got up to take my toddler son to the bathroom (kind of gross and smelly, btw), fully expecting to have our drink orders taken by the time we returned. This did not happen. After a little while, we began to look around at the servers walking around to see if one was going to come to our table. When one finally did, he gave us the excuse that he was not told which tables he was assigned. We ordered drinks and asked for a few more minutes to look at the menu. He brought us our drinks and took our food orders and then asked us if we would like rolls. All of the other servers were bringing rolls with the drinks, which is the typical practice for every other time we have eaten at O'Charleys and nearly every other restaurant that provides bread with dinner. We did request rolls. However, the next few times our server came out of the kitchen, he did not look towards our table, let alone bring the rolls. After about 10 minutes, I sought out the manager. I went to the hostess and asked her for the manager, and she told me she was the acting manager. I told her about our situation of watching parties seated after us already getting their dinner before we even got our rolls. She went to the kitchen and--I imagine--spoke to our server about it. A few minutes passed, and the apparently-actual manager came to our table with the rolls and offered his apologies and free desserts. A few more minutes later, our food came out and our service for the remainder of the meal improved. However, we never received a follow-up from the manager. The final issue was that the server failed to remove the kids' meals from the check under the "Kids Eat Free" deal. He fixed the error upon my request and we paid the check and left. We do not plan on returning to this O'Charley's location.

  Our servers Jared and Rhonda are the best! They're the reason we keep coming back! The food is good but the service is phenomenal!
