  Most aspects of Courtney's Kitchen can be best described as 'okay.'
  
  Appearance: The dining area is dimly lit with the exception of some tables with their own overhead lights. The tables are mismatched and plain, but clean.
  
  Service: When we went on a Saturday for lunch it was self-seating. After picking a table we had to wait ~10 minutes for a waitress to take our drink order and give us menus. Through the meal she alternated between being very attentive and disappearing for chunks of time. Our waitress was very nice though.
  
  Food: I ordered 'Dan's Fish & Chips,' which I probably would not have done had I read reviews beforehand and will certainly not do again. The fish was very clearly frozen pre-breaded fillets like you would buy in a box at the grocery store. The fries appeared to be made in store but were floppy and mushy. The coleslaw was probably the best part of the meal, it was actually pretty good. My wife ordered the 'Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap' which she said was okay but pretty bland.
  
  Overall: I would have given 3.5 stars, but only whole stars are possible and this restaurant deserves 3 stars a lot more than 4 stars. I'm not sure why it's score on Google is as high as it is. Maybe they have some other solid menu items that I did not try. Unfortunately I won't be going back to try them. At $10 for frozen deep fried fish triangles, once is enough for me.

  I've been to Courtney's Kitchen on separate days and for different meals. Breakfast on a Saturday was good. Fast, attentive, waitress and great food. But yesterday I had dinner here. The waitress seemed stressed but was still pleasant. It did seem to be a while for us to get our food (in a party of 5 adults and 3 kids). Their fountain machine was down so pop was being issued out of cans - except mine. The first drink came from a 2 liter that was completely flat. They quickly corrected it. The breaded tenderloin sandwich was one of the best I've ever had - I HIGHLY recommend it! I'd you want to try a local place and don't mind spending a little more to support a mom and pop place, eat here. Just be patient as its not "fast food".
